Why You Should Consider HCG

According to the American government, an estimated 33 percent of American adults suffer from obesity. This disturbing trend can be blamed on increased use of TV and video games, the popularity of fast food restaurants, ballooning portion sizes, the temptations of vending machines and increasingly sedentary lifestyles. It is important to get at least 30 to 60 minutes of strenuous exercise a day, but most people do not even manage the minimum. Overstuffed work days lead to stress and poor sleep quality, both of which cause the body to produce cortisol and pack on fat. The possible repercussions of such habits are frightening. They range from high cholesterol and blood pressure, diabetes, frequent colds, infections and joint problems to much more life threatening events like heart attack, blood clots and stroke. This increases the dependency on prescription medications which, besides being expensive, may cause dangerous side effects and weight gain on their own. To stop the threat of such negative health effects, you need to lose weight, and quickly.

Having realized that their weight is having detrimental effects on their health and self esteem, many people have begun to turn to HCG, or human chorionic gonadotropin, to lose weight. A lot of people find that more traditional methods simply don’t work well for them. Many diet plans require long term commitment, strict adherence and often forbid entire food groups, and when people don’t see results as quickly as they think they should, they tend to become discouraged and give up. This is where HCG can help.

Human chorionic gonadotropin is a hormone that is produced by pregnant women, and is what pregnancy tests detect certain levels of to diagnose a pregnancy. When used in very tiny amounts, HCG suppresses appetite, eliminating your desire to eat more than you need. When you consume just enough food for your body to function, about 1,200 to 1,500 calories per day for sedentary people, your body resorts to burning its fat stores for energy. This results in a rapid and noticeable reduction in weight that will encourage you to stick to your efforts. You will, however, still have to take some care with your diet. Just because you’re taking HCG doesn’t mean that you can live on junk food and expect positive results.

HCG supplements can be found in the form of drops, creams and injections and are available without a prescription. Drops can be added to your foods and beverages or taken straight. Creams are are rubbed into the skin, usually on a fatty spot like the inner thigh or the underside of your arm. The injections probably aren’t going to be terribly popular with people, since they require you to inject yourself, though only once a day, usually in the top part of your thigh, your abdomen or buttocks. Injections will likely be unpleasant at first, but become easier with practice, especially once you start to see your results!
